Hola from Kevin and Cristina!

We are a couple living in San Antonio, Texas, and like most people these days, we are busy with family, work and just life in general.

Kevin was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and after 4 years in the military and traveling the world, he went on to earn a B.S. and M.S. in Geology. He worked for several years as a geologist in Houston and overseas, finally relocating to San Antonio in January 2017. He has 2 wonderful children and enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, technology and looking at rocks.

I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, and after getting my undergrad degree in Early Childhood Education, I earned a scholarship to pursue a masters degree in Education in Kalamazoo, MI. After graduation, I moved back to the Dominican Republic and worked as an elementary school teacher for a few years before relocating to San Antonio, Texas in 2013. I enjoy writing, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and my furry baby, Iggy.

Kevin and I met in 2017 and quickly began a relationship after discovering that we shared many of the same values and had so much in common. Did I mention we are both now elementary school teachers?!

When we decided to build a home together, we realized that keeping the house clean, organized, and comfortable was a priority for us, but it wasn’t easy. The time required for both of us to keep up with the cleaning was taking away from quality family time. This is when the idea of CleanUp the app was born. We thought: Wouldn’t it be nice to have a reliable, easy, and user-friendly app that can help us connect with cleaners in our area? While it is true that there are many businesses that can do home cleanings, we wanted something that could be fast, simple and with results only a few clicks away.

CleanUp the app is a family-owned business born from the needs of a family who believes in the importance of a clean home and peace of mind, but not at the expense of limited quality free time. We are a business firmly rooted in our principles of trust, community, convenience, and choice. Our vision is to see our business grow to improve the lives of many by providing on-demand cleaning services. We want to help our customers have a clean comfortable home without sacrificing their precious time.
